The wines

Here are a few riddles to keep a part of mystery and let your gustative and olfactive senses work as well as your visual and auditory senses all along the journey.

1st day:
  • White wine so called after a very « school » emperor
  • Then a good vintage with an all in one short name

2nd day:
  • It is also the name of the highest village in Europe
  • It is not Daudet's and yet Eole is its friend

3rd day:
  • Great floral white wine form the Rhone Valley which gives its name to the village where you will spend the night
  • We'll take it for the way down and you will look a bit like her at the end of this long day

4th day :
  • In Ardeche, a white wine mixed with two marvels, right at the bottom of the castle
  • It is also called the « black wine » ; its name comes from the celtic language and means : burnt land

5th day :
  • The only organic sweet wine of our journey. Its name, though the tones are the same, has nothing to do with a famous italian lakeside village.
  • Its name comes from Latin : Jucundas

6th day :
  • Small label of a great white wine which deserves to be known , but sh ! Don't speak too loud and let us stay between connoisseurs ;)
  • The great red wine of the Rhone Valley. Its name comes from the mitre
